To be honest, you should do whatever it is you want to do. No one should be telling you what you should and shouldn't do. If drawing MLP makes you and your followers happy then right on. I say keep drawing this if you love it, or like it or whatever. Don't let someone else change your mind about drawing something you enjoy drawing.  WHAT A WASTE OF TALENT. YOU COULD BE ONE OF THE BEST DEVIANT ARTISTS IF YOU DIDN'T WASTE IT ON MY LITTLE PONY. I for one is a big fan of the series but I think you have gone too far. YOU NEED TO TRY NEW THINGS. Not THIS. This is just plain stupid the way you waste your talent like that. I feel very bad for you. PLEASE. Try something new. I beg of you. Not mlp or Monster high. I am gonna keep repeating this until you do it.
 The worst thing you can do to an artist is urge them to change. At most you make a suggestion if asked and then who knows what goes from there but you obviously do not grasp how the creative mind works. Fan art of any kind is no waste of talent as it draws from inspiration of some kind and is then used to improve. This is no waste of talent its just you bullying someone that is fantastic into doing something that they do not want and that is not how you improve its just how you break someone down and stop them from loving what they do.
once again. I don't care how many times she draws mlp. I am just telling her to go beyond mlp because she is really good at art. She could make her talent more than a hobby.
because I just want her to realize that she could use her talent to go waaaay beyond than mlp. I 'm not even forcing her, I am just trying to persuade her to try new things. (but what I said WAS pretty harsh though...)
 She's allowed to do whatever she wants to do. Quit being a jerk and leave her alone. This is not a waste of talent, because she is drawing what she likes and THAT is the point of art. If you don't like what she's doing, you can leave. Art isn't about pleasing everybody, you know. If you want to see talent being put to "good use" then either do it yourself or go somewhere else.
I am just urging her to try new things. I am not as amazing as her. I don't have a tablet or the supplies to draw like her either. but she is very good and I just want her to succeed in her art. You can't just keep drawing MLP forever, she has got to try something else. I think she's really good. But she could be good at a lot of other things She needs to try new things but that doesn't mean she should stop drawing mlp. She could draw a billion mlp drawings as long as she at LEAST try something new. I'm sorry if I was too harsh on her but she can't keep getting compliments her whole life you know. It's time to move on.
